Engineering Drawing Release

ControlPointAI has released CP-UT-DFD-001 — Piping UT Demonstration: Node 1 to Node 2 Controlled Transition, a two-sheet engineering drawing developed as part of our Piping Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Demonstration Project.

The drawing illustrates how AI-assisted analysis can support a controlled engineering process while preserving human technical authority, verification requirements, and traceability.

What's Included

Sheet 1 — Process and Test Point Evidence

Documents the controlled transition from inspection work-package initiation to inspection basis and criteria determination, including engineering requirements, supporting evidence, and human review and approval.

Sheet 2 — Control Behavior and Provenance

Illustrates the conditions governing progression, including release, hold, resolution, escalation, and the traceability of information and engineering decisions.

Engineering Governance in Practice

The demonstration reinforces a fundamental ControlPointAI principle:

AI may assist with analysis and information preparation. Human technical authority remains responsible for engineering determinations, validation, and approval.

The drawing provides a tangible engineering example of how these responsibilities can be represented within a controlled operational process.
